The New Jersey Play Lab is dedicated to play development. We are firm believers that a good dramaturg can bring a play to a very solid place purely by working through drafts with the writer. However, at some point in every development process, you need to hear the play, ideally read by really good actors, who will not only perform the roles well, but will pose smart questions and offer actionable feedback to the playwrights.
This is where The NJPL ACTOR DIRECTORY comes into play!
This is a directory of the many actors who have given generously of their time, talent, and curiosity to nurture the development of new plays for the stage. These actors are collaborative in spirit, analytical, and thoughtful. We use these actors in our own programming and we hope you will consider them for your work as well.
Please view the headshots on this page and then click HERE to access a spreadsheet of actor contact information, resumes and work samples.
If you have any questions about this directory, please email info@njplaylab.org
