Our Process
We recognize that due to limited resources, plays are often developed in a piecemeal fashion through a number of short residencies and workshops, and that this can lead to a play remaining “in development” for some time. This often makes a play feel like it’s being pulled in many different directions, in response to varying feedback and voices.
Our experience has given us the expertise to condense and fast track this developmental process into a short period without sacrificing quality or craft. The playwright is and always will be the final voice in the room, but we believe in hands-on dramaturgy and that an outstanding play takes many drafts and much refinement. Our process is rigorous and demanding because we strive for excellence.
